Women in Business: Baby Gift Idea Announces Acquisition of Baby Dry Goods
North Augusta, South Carolina (October 10, 2006) - Natalie Hayes, owner of award-winning online retail store
BabyGiftIdea.com, has announced the successful transfer of ownership of Baby Dry Goods. Hayes is a single mom,
and successful woman in business.
North Augusta, S.C. -- Natalie Hayes, owner of BabyGiftIdea.com, a
leading online baby gift retailer since 1998, has announced the
acquisition of Baby Dry Goods (http://www.BabyDryGoods.com).
Baby Dry Goods creates and produces stylish, one-of-a-kind baby items
including a diapering attaché with a diapering blanket, coordinating
bibs, burp cloth sets, and soft stroller blankets. Baby Dry Goods has a
growing number of brick-and-mortar retail stores currently carrying its
products across the U.S.A. and internationally.
Following this acquisition, BabyGiftIdea.com will become the sole online
retail outlet for the Baby Dry Goods label. The many retail outlets will
continue to carry the Baby Dry Goods line, and additional retail
locations will soon be added, according to Hayes.
Hayes, 32, is a single mom and has developed BabyGiftIdea.com into a
successful business that markets an assortment of gift items for
newborns and babies. The site offers many popular items that are
inexpensively priced, with convenient and fast shipping.
"Natalie knows what it takes to make a business successful. I am
thrilled that she will be the new owner of the company my husband Paul
and I created and built into an international company," said Julia
Sudderth, former owner of Baby Dry Goods.
Baby Dry Goods began in 2002 when Sudderth, a mother of two infants 15
months apart, created her own solution to a bulky diaper bag. She
designed the "Hot to Trot Mama! Diapering Attaché." Other mothers saw it
and wanted one, and her new business began. Today the company also
offers popular coordinating bibs, burp cloth sets, and soft stroller
blankets.
Hayes said she fell in love with the Baby Dry Goods line and began
ordering stock for her online store in January. When she learned that
Sudderth needed to close the business for personal reasons she made a
purchase offer. Although Baby Dry Goods will be treated as a separate
entity, Hayes feels this will also add to her unique product offerings
available at BabyGiftIdea.com.
"As a mom myself I understand the challenges of a busy mother on the go
and caring for a newborn or infant. The products created by Julia are
just what every mom needs, and I am looking forward to continuing this
wonderful line of baby care items," said Hayes.
About Baby Dry Goods:
Natalie Hayes, a single mom, is the new owner of Baby Dry Goods, and
also owns BabyGiftIdea.com. The two companies will operate separately,
but BabyGiftIdea.com will be the exclusive online retailer of the
product line from Baby Dry Goods.
