Shipping Methods
Products delivered in the lower 48 of the United States are shipped via FedEx, UPS, or USPS.  Orders for Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico are shipped via the US Postal Service.  We also ship to military addresses using the US Postal Service.  For shipping rates and turnaround times during the regular seasons, click here. International Shipping
We offer international shipping via the US Postal Service (shipments generally take 7 days, plus additional time to pass through customs) to the following areas: Canada, Europe, China and Japan. Please note that, although we mark the items as gifts, there are at times customs charges assessed when the product arrives at the country of origin. The recipient of the item will be asked to pay the customs fees upon delivery when applicable. If the recipient rejects the gift or refuses to pay the charges, we will have to charge the purchaser's credit card for the fees incurred for customs, or for return shipping of the gift back to us (only when applicable). If this occurs, we will inform the purchaser by email of any assessed charges, and provide proof if requested.
Your Receipt
The majority of Baby Gift Idea customers are gift buyers.  Therefore, our policy is to never include the receipt with your order.  Instead, a receipt is instantly e-mailed to your e-mail address as soon as the purchase is complete.  The receipt contains all necessary information regarding your order.
Return Policy
For our personalized products, we do not allow refunds.  If a spelling error was made on our part, e-mail us.  We will replace the item at no additional charge.  If a product arrives broken/damaged, e-mail us within 5 days and we will issue a return # and arrange shipping for you to exchange the item at no charge to you.

For all other returns, we do not charge a restocking fee but return shipping of the item to us is at the expense of the sender.  Before returning an item, send an e-mail to us within 10 days of receipt of your order and we will give you a return # to mark on your package.  Please note that returned items must be in new condition with unopened packaging and products in tact. If an exchange is desired, please send us an e-mail within 10 days of receipt of your order. Postage to ship the item to us and also for us to ship the new item out is at the expense of the person requesting the exchange.  Exchanged items must be in new condition with unopened packaging and products in tact. ** Packages returned by our carrier as undeliverable or rejected by recipients incur a $10.00 returned item fee by the carrier. Because our account is automatically charged, please double check ship-to information before placing your order as we must unfortunately pass this charge onto you, the purchaser in such an event. Package carrier's standard procedure if a recipient is not there to receive a package is to leave a notification slip at the residence. The carrier will return the next 2 consecutive days to re-deliver. If the recipient is still not home and has not called the 800 number on the slip to arrange delivery, the package is returned to us and a $10.00 returned item fee is assessed which we must, unfortunately, pass on to you, the customer.

As a valued customer, Baby Gift Idea respects your personal and credit card information.  We do not share your information with any third parties without your prior knowledge and approval.  The online orders you place at Baby Gift Idea.com are 128-bit encrypted for the utmost security.  Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, you cannot be held liable for more than $50.00 of unauthorized charges on your card.  Because we believe strongly in the secure standards of our ordering system, we will be happy to assume a $50.00 charge were you to become a victim of credit card fraud occurring as a result of ordering through our store.
Gift Wrapping
Baby Gift Idea.com provides a gift wrapping service for $5.50 per order.  This covers wrapping of every item in your order that can be wrapped. Some products can not be effectively gift wrapped due to their size or shape.  If one or more products from your order are wrapped, the $5.50 fee would apply.  If none of  the items in your order are able to be wrapped, we will simply refund  you the $5.50.  As stated on the product pages, some personalized items and rugs may not be gift wrapped.
